Allyson McKinney joins XPRIZE with 5 years of experience in Event Planning and Hospitality Management. With Ms. McKinney’s expertise in strategic planning and guest relations she is a fundamental part of the Events team. With her event production and operations background she will further support XPRIZE’s events and programs.
Prior to joining XPRIZE Ms. McKinney performed the role as the Hospitality Manager at Singularity University, which she oversaw the day-to-day event operations including; personnel management, facility and venue support, providing superb customer satisfaction and the upkeep of administrative records. Ms. McKinney also had the opportunity to work as the Events and Operational Assistant for TED Conferences at TEDActive 2013. During her time at TED she produced special events, meetings, and exhibits.
Ms. McKinney holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Hospitality, Tourism and Event Management from San Jose State University where she graduated with honors as a Dean Scholar.
