Jennifer Bravo is Senior Director, Visioneers at the XPRIZE Foundation. Ms. Bravo leads a core pillar of the Foundation’s work – Visioneers – a process that leverages XPRIZE’s global community of innovators, thought leaders, and entrepreneurs to design competitions that tackle the world’s Grand Challenges.
Prior to leading Visioneers, Ms. Bravo was an integral member of the Foundation’s Prize Development team, where she contributed to the Foundation's mission and vision; conducted and oversaw the research and analysis necessary to determine the most effective prize competitions in any given domain; and collaborated with thought leaders, scientists, entrepreneurs, and change makers to design prize competitions aimed at global impact.
Before joining XPRIZE in 2013, Ms. Bravo worked closely with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions for over a decade to develop and implement policy in the public interest. Ms. Bravo earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Sacramento in anthropology, and her Master of Public Policy from the University of Southern California, where she serves on the alumni board of the USC Price School of Public Policy. She spends her free time advocating for animal protection, environmental, and social justice issues.
