Thanks to the Team Summit and the French Open (okay, not necessarily in that order), almost every hotel room in Strasbourg is full. We are working to try to find more options, but at this point every room in our block has been taken.
Many attendees may be flying into Paris, Frankfurt, or Stuttgart instead of directly into Strasbourg. I flew into Frankfurt myself, and I shot a video explaining how to get from Frankfurt to downtown Strasbourg, and then from downtown Strasbourg to ISU. We're going to try to get these up on YouTube soon.
If you haven't been to ISU before, I'd recommend you also check for those videos, which will show you how to take public transport from the city center to ISU's campus. It's pretty easy by tram, with the closest tram stop only about a 10 minute walk.
Thanks largely to Pierre-Damien Vaujour, intern extraordinaire and hopefully future X PRIZE blogger, we'll be running a really awesome student competition during the Team Summit. Stay tuned for more details.
Good idea when coming to Strasbourg: come with enough space in your luggage to bring back two bottles of wine! Your loved ones will thank you for it.
