Alan Zack

Alan Zack comes to the X PRIZE Foundation with more than 20 years of experience successfully developing marketing strategies for top entertainment brands within The Walt Disney Company, Mattel, Activision/Blizzard, as well as several startup companies. This experience helps Mr. Zack oversee all marketing, branding and communication efforts for the Foundation and its competitions. He is responsible for designing and executing customer-facing programs that will generate both awareness and interest.
Prior to joining the X PRIZE Foundation, Mr. Zack served as Director of Marketing at Encore Software, a subsidiary of Navarre Corporation. During his tenure at Encore, he created and implemented national consumer marketing campaigns for leading software brands such as PC Tools, The Learning Company, Hoyle, Broderbund and H&R Block.
Mr. Zack received a Bachelor of Science in Journalism at University of Oregon and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida.
