David Donell
David Donell brings to the X PRIZE Foundation his ability to build, strengthen and lead the financial function of a company throughout various stages of its evolution. As Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for creating, coordinating and evaluating budgets and financial plans for the organization.
Before joining the X PRIZE Foundation, Mr. Donell co-founded Intuitive Associates, Inc., a company handling complex corporate tax assignments and forensic work in association with corporate and securities fraud assignment. Prior to founding Intuitive, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Avega Health Systems, where he drastically improved overall financial efficiency, positioning the company for an eventual sale to MedAssets, Inc.
Mr. Donell holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from San Diego State University and is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Information Technology Professional.
