Elizabeth Rogers joins the X PRIZE Foundation with more than 18 years of experience in business, marketing, pop culture and the non-profit world. As Director of Alliances, Ms. Rogers is responsible for identifying new opportunities and partnerships for the Foundation. Her ability to "know the audience" and build constituencies will open new vistas for X PRIZE.

Prior to joining the X PRIZE Foundation, Ms. Rogers penned several books, including The New York Times best-seller The Green Book: The Everyday Guide to Saving the Planet One Simple Step at a Time, the number one best-selling green title on the market to date. Prior to that Ms. Rogers spent ten years as the Senior Vice President of Global Communications for Calvin Klein, after which she worked with the Natural Resources Defense Council as a branding consultant. Ms. Rogers has worked with major brands like Christie's (Fine Art Auctions), General Electric, Proctor & Gamble and has appeared on many national television shows, including The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Today Show, Good Morning America, Access Hollywood, and on MSNBC and FOX News. Articles about Elizabeth and her work have appeared in numerous publications, including Vogue, Vanity Fair, The New York Times, and Readers Digest.

In 2006, Ms. Rogers created Trippin', MTV's first-ever eco-friendly reality TV show, with actor Cameron Diaz. Hailed as groundbreaking television programming, the show targeted young viewers with the message that even small efforts by everyday people can make a huge difference in saving the planet.
