Gianelle Veis

Gianelle Veis joins the X PRIZE Foundation with more than six years of experience creating, managing and implementing integrated, multi-platform marketing and sponsorship campaigns for IMAX Theatre films and their respective environmental and educational initiatives. Ms. Veis applies her experience to X PRIZE by developing marketing and sponsorship programs to engage prospective partners in support of prizes in development. By comprehensively analyzing the marketplace of potential prizes, Veis creates and manages prize marketing strategies, including public relations, social media and education plans, and functions as a liaison between prize development and operations to transition prizes from the design to launch phases.
Prior to joining the X PRIZE Foundation, Ms. Veis served as Manager of Marketing and Sponsorships at MacGillivray Freeman Films, the world’s highest-grossing independent producer and distributor of educational IMAX Theatre films. During her tenure at MacGillivray Freeman, she managed the development and implementation of marketing and sponsorship campaigns for partners aligned with film content, themes and educational initiatives in order to support film development, production, distribution, and releases.
Ms. Veis received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication, with minors in Spanish and Theatre, and her Master of Communication Management from the University of Southern California.
