Kacy Qua comes to the X PRIZE Foundation with over ten years of consulting, business development and market strategy experience. This background enables Ms. Qua to conceptualize and design prize competitions which address underlying market failures, incentivize entrepreneurs to solve grand technological challenges, and provide Foundation partners highly leveraged ROI, which stimulates industry growth and investment.

Prior to joining the X PRIZE Foundation in 2009, she worked and consulted for various industry leading companies including Lockheed Martin Space Systems, Cisco Systems, Deloitte Consulting, and Participant Media.

She holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, a Master of Business Administration from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles, and a certificate in International Business from the University of Copenhagen.
