Announcement of the Winner for the Crazy Green Idea

Congratulations to Bryan Le and Kyle Good (The Capacitor Challenge Team) from Irvine, CA, winners of the X PRIZE Foundation’s first ever “What’s Your Crazy Green Idea” Contest!!!

Their “Crazy Green Idea” to develop a new storage medium, an “ultra-capacitor,” generated the highest number of votes to be crowned champions of this competition and be the recipients of the $25,000 prize check from Prize Capital.

More than 4,000 votes were received to determine our winner so we would like to thank you, the public audience, for your votes and sharing your enthusiasm for this competition. This has been an exciting contest for us here at X PRIZE and we are proud to have had Prize Capital as our sponsor. We’d also like to thank YouTube and its community for being an ideal forum for such a contest to take place.
