Detriot Free Press - Scientists Look to Centenarian 'Rock Stars of Aging' for Health Solutions

This month, the X PRIZE Foundation and Medco Health Solutions, based in Franklin Lakes, N.J., announced a $10-million award to encourage scientists to compete in a contest that could ultimately identify the genes that protect against disease. The research could shed light on what causes diseases and what prevents them, said Felix Frueh, president of the Medco Research Institute.
