A Radical Benefit for Humanity

On Saturday, May 15, the luminaries of the world will unite in San Francisco for the X PRIZE Foundation’s A Radical Benefit for Humanity: Making the Impossible Possible, One Prize at a Time, an extraordinary evening of entertainment, intelligence and vision, hosted by James Cameron, Larry Page & Sergey Brin at Lucasfilm’s Letterman Digital Arts Center in San Francisco.

The exclusive charity event for an intimate 350 guests will celebrate X PRIZE’s remarkable accomplishments as the Foundation unveils its vision for the future.  CNN’s Chief Business Correspondent Ali Velshi will co-emcee the event with a surprise celebrity host.

The mission of the X PRIZE Foundation is to create radical breakthroughs for the benefit of humanity by using incentive prizes to change the paradigm of how we think about innovation and solve the world’s greatest challenges in: Energy & the Environment, Exploration, Education & Global Development, and Life Sciences.

At the event…

  • Join visionaries and international leaders in technology, entertainment, science, education and business honoring brilliance, accomplishment and innovation.
  •     Through our live auction, bid to win a trip to space on Virgin Galactic, a 2010 Tesla Roadster, have your personal genome sequenced, lunch with our VIPs and more.
  • Enjoy an unforgettable evening of entertainment, intelligence and vision.

  • Out-of-this-world suborbital flight with Virgin Galactic, offering the chance to experience complete weightlessness onboard SpaceShipTwo, set to launch later this year
  • Exhilarating deep-sea safari to experience the beauty and mystery of the ocean, one of the earth’s most unexplored territories
