It occurred to me to ask whether or not the Space Florida prize bonus applies to a mission launched as a secondary payload from Florida.
This would be significant if they did allow it. We are currently making trade studies on launch options, since that will drive much of the financial resource portion of the mission.
If anyone has any insight into that, it would be helpful, I believe, for all the teams to know.

Hi Pete,
I wanted to answer your question regarding Space Florida's $2M bonus prize for teams launching from FL, and whether or not it applied to teams that were launching as a secondary payload. The answer is yes, you would still be eligible for the bonus. I would encourage all teams to explore this option when choosing a launch vehicle, as it may be less expensive than having a dedicated flight.
