Laura Segura-Mueller
Laura Segura-Mueller's extensive background in fundraising, event management and filmmaking informs her role at the X PRIZE Foundation. As part of the Alliances team, Laura is responsible for business and community development for the Foundation. Laura serves as a key liaison for partnering Corporations, Foundations, Philanthropists, the Board of Trustees, Vision Circle members, Spirit of Innovation members as well as friends of the Foundation.
Prior to joining X PRIZE, Laura was Director of Annual Giving and Community Development at Film Independent, a non-profit arts organization for independent filmmakers. In addition to playing an integral role in their major events, the Film Independent Spirit Awards and the Los Angeles Film Festival, Ms. Mueller was responsible for increasing overall annual gifts and membership as well as maintaining entertainment industry relations for the company. Previously Laura worked at Dell, Inc. and Keller Williams International. Laura has enjoyed working in various capacities on film productions, and is passionate about films that educate and bring awareness to world issues (aka "Filmanthropy").
Laura received her degrees from University of Notre Dame.
