Chapter 2 is particularly useful as you watch the debates. It points out pervasive antimarket bias, antiforeign bias (e.g., immigation), make-work bias (i.e., jobs over prosperity), and pessimistic bias.
It's dense but worth paging through on your next flight. Read the first two chapters and the conclusions of the other six. And, take the next few months with a grain of salt.
