Chad M. Baum is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Business Development and Technology at Aarhus University. His main research activities center on the social, ethical, and policy dimensions of greenhouse gas removal and solar radiation management, under the auspices of the EU-funded GENIE (“GeoEngineering and NegatIve Emissions pathways in Europe”) project. He also continues to research the subjects of social acceptance and public understanding of novel plant-breeding and food technology innovations, such as cultivated meat and CRISPR/Cas9. He has recently published in journals such as Global Environmental Change, Food Quality and Preference, Energy Research & Social Science, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Risk Analysis, and Livestock Science.
