Siddhartha holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, an Msc. in Biomedical Engineering and CAS in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, both from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. He brings many years of interdisciplinary professional experience with him in technology, research and innovation roles in different organizations across multiple countries. He has contributed to the invention and development of innovative algorithms that are used in smart hearing devices for the profoundly hearing impaired and has been actively involved with the Frontline Health XPrize Design.
Siddhartha is responsible for bringing technology driven insights into Fondation Botnar’s work across diverse initiatives. He supports the Foundation team in making informed decisions on funding and catalyzing innovative projects spanning health and education and leveraging Data, AI and digital technologies to promote the wellbeing of young people. Siddhartha draws his inspiration from a range of disciplines and is deeply interested in facilitating a responsible use of technology and algorithms for common good.
