Tatiana Schor

Graduated in Economics, Masters in Geography (Human Geography, 1999) and doctorate in Environmental Science (2005) by the University of São Paulo. Completed postdoctoral internship in Urban and Economic Geography by the Center for Place, Culture and Politics, Graduate Center, CUNY -USA. Received the award Catedra Ruth Cardoso - Columbia University, Fulbright-CAPES Fellowship, NY-USA, 2016-2017. Professor at the Geography Department of the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM). Coordinates the Study and Research Program of the Urban Network of the Solimões-Amazonas River by the Center of Studies and Research of the Cities in the Amazon - NEPECAB. She is a researcher of the graduate programs in Geography of the Department of Geography and the Program in Environmental Sciences and Sustainability in the Amazon of the Center for Environmental Sciences both of UFAM. Coordinated the State Center for Conservation Units (CEUC) of the State Secretariat for the Environment and Sustainable Development (SDS) of Amazonas, 2012. Served as the Deputy Secretary for Planning of the Secretariat of Rural Production of the State of Amazonas - SEPROR, 2013-2014 . President of the Observatory of the Metropolitan Region of Manaus - ORMM 2017-2019 and Representative of the Brazilian Society for the Progress of Science - SBPC in Amazonas, 2018. Currently holds the position of Executive Secretary of Science, Technology and Innovation in the Secretariat of Economic Development, Planning, Science, Technology and Innovation - SEDECTI, Amazonas, Brazil.
