Program Overview
XPRIZE Rapid Reskilling, sponsored by New Profit, has partnered with the Los Angeles County Department of Workforce, Development Aging, and Community Services (WDACS) to bring you a free opportunity to gain the skills needed for a new career. From March 14, 2022 to July 14, 2022 you are encouraged to enroll in one of the training programs below.
Upon successful completion you may be placed in a job in your new career field by the creators of the career training platforms. The Los Angeles County Department of Workforce, Development Aging, and Community Services (WDACS) is excited to share these training opportunities with you.
The creators of the training platforms are competing in XPRIZE Rapid Reskilling, a 30-month competition to quickly reskill workers for the digital revolution. We are now in the exponential scaling round of the field test where the competitors are aiming to reach 5,000 workers to train them for fast-growing jobs that pay a living wage.
