As Vice President of Marketing Strategy at XPRIZE, Crissy leads go-to-market strategy and integrated marketing campaigns across the foundation’s prizes and programs. She is part of the Marketing & Communications department and reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Crissy is passionate about using marketing to advance social impact and shaping narratives that drive awareness, engagement, and action. She has held senior leadership roles across nonprofit, higher education, tech, and entertainment, building cross-sector collaborations and high-performing teams that deliver measurable results. Previously, she served as Senior Director of Marketing and Engagement at United Way of Greater Los Angeles, advancing equity and supporting countywide efforts to end homelessness.

Crissy began her career as a television news producer, an experience that sharpened her storytelling instincts and deepened her understanding of the interconnectedness of global economics, politics, business, and culture. Other roles include marketing and content leadership positions at Sony Pictures Television International Networks and early-stage digital ventures, as well as serving as a Senior Advisor to Secretary Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential primary campaign in California. She later launched UCLA Anderson’s Center for Media, Entertainment & Sports, helping establish the center as a leading platform for industry thought leadership.

Crissy studied journalism at Northwestern University and earned an MBA from the University of San Francisco. Outside of work, she enjoys surfing, yoga, hiking with her dog, exploring art around the world, and cooking for friends and family.
