• $100M XPRIZE Carbon Removal competition established rigorous performance benchmarks—requiring finalist teams to remove at least 1,000 metric tonnes of CO₂ annually—and defined durability criteria for carbon sequestration over at least 100 years.
• NRG COSIA Carbon XPRIZE dramatically accelerated the commercialization of ultra-low-carbon concrete. 
• Google Lunar XPRIZE alum ispace attempted a second lunar landing in June 2025 and continues its HAKUTO-R program toward future missions, expanding commercial access to the Moon. 
• IBM Watson AI XPRIZE alum Touchlab completed over 800 hospital pilot hours with its tactile robotic nurse avatar, Välkky, pointing to safer, more efficient care where human skill is extended by precise, responsive machines.
