NematiQ, Clean TeQ Water, and Monash University are advancing Graphene-Enhanced Reverse Osmosis (GE-RO): a drop-in seawater RO membrane featuring a nanoscale graphene oxide coating. GE-RO is designed to reduce fouling and chemical cleaning requirements, stabilise long-term flux, and extend membrane life. Building on the team’s validated GE-UF platform and commercial-scale manufacturing experience, GE-RO aims to lower both the cost and environmental footprint of seawater desalination.
