Metalplant couples enhanced rock weathering (ERW) with nickel phytomining to deliver carbon removal while producing nickel. Using hyperaccumulator plants on native serpentine soils, they turn nickel from a constraint into revenue that scales and lowers CDR costs. Vertically integrated, Metalplant controls its minerals and operates its own farms. By bringing farms to the rocks and deploying a high-pH-tolerant ERW crop, they enable higher application rates and greater CO₂ removal per hectare.
